The Jutterskeet is a joint project of Westland nature and technology web (WNT-Web), Strandpark Vlugtenburg and Kinderopvang Okidoki.
In the Beachcomber’s Shed is a museum with all the jetted (waste) material. Anyone visiting the beach can bring beach finds to the Beachcomber’s Shed. In addition, the Beachcomber’s Shed also offers educational activities for all ages!
You will be amazed at all the treasures found on the beach! Head towards the beach yourself with a beachcomber bag, you can pick up this bag at the restaurant Eetcafé Zout. Take a nice walk on the beach while picking up items you see lying on the beach. You will end the tour back at the beachcomber’s hut where you can leave your found objects and admire what other people have found!
Parking Beachcomber's Shed
You can park your car for free at Strandpark Vlugtenburg or Strandopgang Vlugtenburg, Nieuwlandsedijk 22, ‘s-Gravenzande. From the Vlugtenburg beach entrance, walk past Restaurant Oase. Then turn right on the footpath down the embankment. You will soon see the flags of Strandpark Vlugtenburg and Eetcafé Zout! You will have arrived at your destination.
