Vlugtenburg Restaurant is getting busier by the day, which calls for expansion. All kinds of fun improvements as well as a new menu have already been introduced, and that works as a huge draw. But there is much more room to grow and for that we are looking for you! Someone who enjoys creative thinking and in the process is nice and busy all day.

Work in the kitchen

We are looking for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves in the kitchen and learn everything here. Experience is not necessarily necessary, we can teach you everything.

On Thursdays during the vacations, we have live music on the terrace. Numerous children’s parties are organized in the adjacent open-air playground. Pastries we take very seriously here, so coffee mornings are always a success as well. And in addition, we provide summer cocktails of course with all kinds of delicious lunch and dinner dishes.

The restaurant is right up against the dunes, so perfect for a cooling dip after work. And it is located on the busiest bike path in the Netherlands, which connects Hoek van Holland to Scheveningen.

What do we offer? Function:

If you have no kitchen experience yet – we are going to teach you everything so you can eventually fully participate in the kitchen.
You will start up the kitchen, take care of the mise en place, prepare all the dishes and make sure the guests love it all.
You will help organize special days (children’s parties, group arrangements, music nights, etc.)
You are guaranteed to have the most fun group of colleagues.
There is freedom for great ideas and improvements.
It is a challenging job in vacation atmosphere.

Full-time availability. The main requirement is that you are available weekdays during the day and/or evenings starting in September (Are you only available part-time? Then don’t let that stop you from sending us a message, we are always open to filling the position flexibly).
Age 20+
