Not a weekend away, but a midweek by the sea! The ideal period if you are looking for peace and quiet. Less people on the beach, less people in the cities: just really enjoy yourself for a while. Strandpark Vlugtenburg is the place for a midweek vacation. We don’t have fixed arrival and departure days, so that’s convenient!
Special midweek getaway
For a unique overnight stay, Vlugtenburg is also the place to be. This is extra fun when you visit with the family. For example, sleep in a gypsy wagon at the park or on the beach, in a safari tent or in a hiker’s hut.
Think a spot on the coast is unique enough? Then, of course, you can book a bungalow or reserve your spot at the campsite. There is something for everyone!
Vacation within walking distance of the sea
A nice breath of fresh air
All accommodations and spots in our park are within walking distance of the sea. Did we say walking distance? Crawling distance we mean! Ideal if you want to get a breath of fresh air, swim, sunbathe or do some other activity.
At the beach you are never bored and you always have something to do. Above all, bring your swimsuit and towel we would recommend!
Activities by the sea
Will you explore the dunes by bike? Do you brave the waves while surfing? Or go for a round of blokarting on the beach? It’s all possible! Be sure to stop by the front desk to get personalized advice. Or take a look at our see and do page, and choose a fun activity of your own!

A vacation at our beach park is a vacation for everyone. True mid-week relaxation for you and your loved ones. Families with dogs, children, groups of friends, entire families, disabled people: all can enjoy a midweek by the sea. That way you don’t have to leave anyone at home!
Explore the area
There are plenty of great places in the area worth exploring. For example, visit the center of ‘s-Gravenzande, The Hague or Rotterdam. Three fun cities that are definitely worth a visit. But places like Leiden, Delft and Zoetermeer are also within easy reach. So plenty of choice!

Holiday park Vlugtenburg open all year round
The campsite at Strandpark Vlugtenburg is open all year round. This way you can always enjoy a wonderful holiday, exactly when you are ready! The Pipowagen are on the beach in the summer months and are moved to the park in the winter.
