Are you the handyman we are looking for? Do you enjoy working outdoors? Do you enjoy helping people with small technical tasks? Don’t mind doing some physical tasks?

At Strandpark Vlugtenburg, good service is incredibly important. If there is a guest with a question or a minor technical malfunction, we would like to fix it as soon as possible, so the guest can get on with their well-deserved vacation!

In your role as an employee in technical services, you will support various departments from technical services to green housekeeping to bringing bed linens around for housekeeping.

Work

Minor technical work: change light bulbs, bring new microwave, install wifi, etc.
Park maintenance: carpentry, paint and paint jobs, weed control, terrace cleaning, washing the bungalows/chalets.
Driving towards the beach for baggage service.
Pick up bedding at the park with the golf cart and bring along inventory, cribs and playpens.
Bringing luggage to the bungalows for guests.
You will be the point of contact for guests when they have questions.

Your profile

You are a go-getter and prefer to be outdoors.
You do not necessarily have to have experience in engineering, but it is important that you are handy and enjoy learning all kinds of technical tasks.
You are sociable and enjoy surprising vacation guests with personalized and prompt service.
You speak English and German or at least don’t mind trying.
You are available 38 hours a week and don’t mind working weekends every now and then or resolving a report or malfunction in the evening.
